My Bad Creative Presentation Habits

As I sit here contemplating my new project. I think of my woes when creating the perfect creative effective presentation. I get so caught up in trying to have the perfect presentation I indulge in a lot of Creative Presentation NO NO's! I would like to share some of those with you all and maybe you can help me with some tips to help change these habits.

One of  my bad habits is I OVERTHINK. I want to create the perfect presentation so I will ponder a area longer than necessary. When I do this I end up lost and exhausted because I spent too much time on one part. When I find myself doing that I will take a 15 minute break then come back to the work with a fresh start.

Another bad habit is lack of confidence. I will change something in the presentation over and over again and still not be satisfied. I always believe there is something better that could be done which is good but sometimes not so good. This can confuse you too. I want to be able to put something up and be confident that it is perfect for my presentation.

Last bad habit is time. I have a bad habit of underestimating the necessary time needed to create the most effective presentation. I never have enough time needed because I start to late. According to what to what type of presentation I am doing I will need a week to complete instead of two days.

Creating presentations can be very exciting for me so I get caught in the moment. Now when I am working on a presentation I will go ahead and put it together then come back later to review  the next day to if I see anything I would like to change to make it better. This keeps me from getting confused and exhausted.

Well time to get back to work until next! Lets Create!
